Seven of Coins: Risk-taking 101

The card of the day is the SEVEN OF COINS.

7 of Coins (11)

Are you inclined to play it safe or do you enjoy taking risks? Depending on what side of the fence you come down on, you might need a dash of the opposite.

If you are one to play it safe, it might be time to shake things up and get in the game! The only way you are going to win is if you exhibit confidence. No one wants to put their faith in someone who is unsure about what they are doing. Even if you don’t feel confident now, fake it ’til you make it and act like you know what you are doing.

If you are one to engage in risk taking behaviors, it might be time to reign in any impulsive actions. A couple of indicators that you may need to slow things down might be if you notice that you have a dwindling bank account from living beyond your means, or if you’ve been placed on an ’86ed’ list for exhibiting bad behavior. My advice: Cowboy, it is time to grasp the reigns and think before you act!

Three of Cups: Social Rituals

The card of the day is the THREE OF CUPS.

3 of Cups(11)

Here is that break you were looking for yesterday when you were being hit with all of the hard work involved with the 10 of Wands.

The key themes here are healing and renewal through participating in social rituals. When is the last time you saw the people who you think of as your crew? If it has been a while, it might be time to extend yourself and make a date with a few friends. It’s time to put any worries aside and have some fun. Remember that laughter is good for what ails you!

Here are a few ideas:

  • Host a card game
  • Organize a night to go dancing
  • Go see some music
  • Play croquet in the park

How do you relax with friends? Do you have a regular ‘evening with ladies’ or ‘night out with the boys’? How important are these social experiences for your own healing and renewal?  Maybe you can share some of your own ideas and experiences in the comments!
