Seven of Coins: Risk-taking 101

The card of the day is the SEVEN OF COINS.

7 of Coins (11)

Are you inclined to play it safe or do you enjoy taking risks? Depending on what side of the fence you come down on, you might need a dash of the opposite.

If you are one to play it safe, it might be time to shake things up and get in the game! The only way you are going to win is if you exhibit confidence. No one wants to put their faith in someone who is unsure about what they are doing. Even if you don’t feel confident now, fake it ’til you make it and act like you know what you are doing.

If you are one to engage in risk taking behaviors, it might be time to reign in any impulsive actions. A couple of indicators that you may need to slow things down might be if you notice that you have a dwindling bank account from living beyond your means, or if you’ve been placed on an ’86ed’ list for exhibiting bad behavior. My advice: Cowboy, it is time to grasp the reigns and think before you act!

7 of Coins: Lessons from the Gambler

The card of the day is the SEVEN OF COINS.

7 of pentacles

It’s time to lay your cards on the table and show the world the strategic hand you are about to play. Don’t waste any time waiting for a pat on the back, I know it’s a good hand and you deserve some praise for being clever, but you still have some work to do. Remember that you are competing with people who are just as accomplished as you are. Kenny Rogers’ had it right in his song the Gambler when he said, “You got to know when to show ’em, and know when to fold ’em”. Keep that in mind as you play your hand. Take a risk, but have a sound strategy to back it up. In the end, there is only going to be one winner. Will it be you?
