This weekend you might be reflecting on your life and what you have built for yourself. Emotionally, this is no easy chore. You don’t need to sink into your story, just observe it and notice how you’ve transformed it. This is the message I am receiving:

From humble beginnings you transformed your personal story and created something powerful, uniquely your own and truly valuable. You listened to your inner voice and it moved you in a creative direction led almost entirely by your own spirit. Sometimes you still worry and compare what you’ve created to a different path. What if you had chosen a more stable or secure route? But then you remember it’s all a bit of an illusion and that ideas around safety and security come from the outside world but that doesn’t mean you have to internalize the message and make it your story. You know you would never trade the gifts that have been bestowed upon you for the illusion of security – the interesting jobs, places you’ve traveled and colorful friends you’ve made along the way make you who you are. Sometimes you worry what you have created and what you value most might be taken away without any notice – your health, your home, your job, your family – but even if you know this is true from your personal experience, it is not where you should focus your thoughts or your energy. Your hardships have helped you grow and evolve as a human, some of your hardships taught you how to transform, how to build, how to create, and how to honor your own needs. You were pushed in new directions, you made choices that helped you see more of the world, and you were led to creative people who became an extended family that understood you to the core. The creative people you have met along the way became your community and that community transformed your idea of what power is and you learned how to empower others from your personal experience. You know what loss and insecurity feel like and from this place, you realized you were in the unique position to teach others how to feel safe, secure and stable and to change the collective mindset that leads people to feel powerless. You became responsible for reseting the voice loop that holds others in a poverty mindset. You changed your perspective and your circumstances and you learned you could teach others to do the same.

In the past 5 years you have built something meaningful. You did what you wanted to do. You created something uniquely your own. Your perspective is unusual. Continue to say yes to new creative opportunities because they are filled with healing potential. Focus your energy on what matters. This is always what your spirit has wanted you to do. You are still here and what you have created is still helping you feel safe, supported, valued and loved.
