Five Day Tarot Forecast : 5/11-5/15

At the beginning of the week, you might feel like you need to defend what is yours (I hear some defensive thinking: Stay off my turf! and That was my idea!), yet, no one can get remotely close to claiming what you have built and no one can take credit for your original work. Remember that an idea cannot be copy written, that’s why you can see 100 different people take an idea and put their own spin on it. You will find the people who want what you have to offer.  You will always own the rights to your own work (your portfolio, your examples, your voice). When it comes to defending what you’ve built, try adopting a softer and more inclusive philosophy, you might consider thinking: We should defend what we’ve built or We should protect each others work. You are not the only one who does the work that you do, if you reach out to your peers, if you support them, you will find they will support you too. Each person has their own individual take or version of the same theme. If you are competing for a new job, please know that you have what it takes to get the position. You are seen as professional with experience under your belt. You can do this work and do it well.

The King of Pentacles assures you will receive a good chunk of change for the work you do. Make sure your work really shines and reflects who you truly are (make it exclusively your own), but acknowledge the folks who have blazed a trail for you to follow; acknowledge the people who are in the same position you are. You will always attract more flies with honey, as the saying goes. When you follow the example of people who have come before you, and acknowledge the work of others, you will start to notice  your values are in line with a particular group and this group has a really specific hierarchy with rules to follow. Knowing what your place is within this framework will be important for you, especially once you are ready to take the next step with your work.

You might have a short term project that is coming your way. Say yes to whatever is being offered. It will come in quickly and the competition for this work might be stiff, but you have what it takes. Look at the people around you and recognize you are in a position to take it to the next level. Your choices have led you to the exact place you should be. Energetically, you can ride this wave of prosperity with your peers. There is a natural momentum that will take you into the future, learn to co-create, and build something powerful together. Learn how to be part of a team.

You have some solid ideas that have momentum, run with them and see where they take you. I see more than a hint of prosperity in your future and I see you climbing the ladder of success. The world is your oyster. Find the pearl!

It’s like you are being offered opportunities that you are not taking advantage of. What are your reasons for not responding? I do see some clear signs of escapism. You might be feeling overwhelmed or frustrated by too many obligations at this time (escapism might be how you cope with stress and it can look like: excessive drinking, excessive pot-smoking, excessive social media time or even excessive sleeping, if it’s more than you need).

Be mindful of your opportunities as they are presented because some opportunities will not come around a second time. You might miss something really special if you focus too heavily upon the leisure-lifestyle. There really can be too much of a good thing – even while in quarantine.

Remind yourself of who you truly are: independent, trust-worthy, accountable, organized, and prosperous (even during quarantine). You are someone who is able to handle the details; if you work with others they know they can depend on you to do your part. Best of all – you enjoy what you do. If you work for yourself, this work feels like a great fit and if you work with others but are given a lot of autonomy at your job, you are a great fit for the team you work with and people genuinely like you.

I know you are tired and I know you feel like you don’t want to take on any more responsibility at this time. What burdens can you set down? How can you manage your stress level a little more healthfully and a little more responsibly? Where do you truly need to focus?

As you near the end of the week, I see other people admiring your work. You give your work your very best and it shines. Others think highly of you and they know you go above and beyond. This type of admiration is what leads to raises and future job prospects. Always do your best work, especially when you are signing your name to it. And, I think you need to know your best work, isn’t always perfect work. Sometimes your best work, is showing up when others do not. Sometimes your best work is trying hard. Sometimes your best work is being proud of what you do and not judging the results more harshly than the people around you do.
