When you doing your best to recover from an experience you can’t explain, it’s important to pay attention to your needs and do what truly nourishes your body. Maybe you are searching for a solution to a mysterious health problem, but you feel that you are being blocked at every turn. Instead of reaching into the future and predicting what will happen, it might be more important for you to focus your energy right where you are and to concentrate on your physical body. Feed yourself living foods, drink pure water, eat all of the greens you can, get fresh air, sunlight and exercise. Go for walks in nature, clear your mind and learn how to meditate. Above all, make sure you are getting enough rest. This is the foundation for optimal health.

If you have been feeling lethargic, exhausted, depressed, irritable, or have unexplained changes/discomfort in your body– now is a good time to be proactive and reach out to a health professional who understands how to work with your symptoms. Find someone who takes you seriously, who truly listens, and wants to get at the root of your health problem. You are not looking for a bandaid, you are looking for a solution. What is the underlying problem that is affecting your energy level? How can you slow down and do some repair work? What strategy do you need to employ to heal? What actions will support your health (and I feel compelled to add, specifically your hormonal health)?
